 Hey you!

It's Thursday already so the weekend is almost here - Yay!!!!
I've been super busy this week setting up the transfer of this blog to WordPress because I am pretty sure it will give you a new improved reading experience. I am busy populating the extra pages I get with it and hope that the full transfer will be very soon. To launch the transfer we will be having a mahoosive competition featuring an unbelievable prize form the awesome Marlene Tara Watson. Check Marlene out www.marlenewatsontara.com

Did you try the broad bean and courgette recipe I posted? Yes? delicious wasn't it?!

This weekend was a bit pants because we had news of the death of my hubbies friend. In our experience of we get outside in the fresh air it doesn't make us forget but it does give you some respite and boost the old spirits. We weren't quite up for a full South Downs hike so decided to go to Shere in the Surrey Hills for a wander and lunch. Shere is a beautiful village and there's so much beauty to see in the architecture, gardens, river and the ducks paddling about! I hope you like the pics below.

Maybe this weekend you might not feel like being mega energetic so why not check out somewhere beautiful, go visit and have a wander. It does your mind and body the world of good.

I've checked out the weather for this weekend and its not looking too bad so how about moving your body more with some gardening or a local walk?
Gardening gives your body an all over workout without even seeing a treadmill! Plus of course there's the added bonus that your garden will be good enough to have a healthy barbecue in during the evening! If you do have a barbecue this weekend why not try this delish nutrish idea-
Super Quick and Easy Sexy Veg and Halloumi Sticks (serves 6)
Ingredients
1 aubergine (chop into 6 chunk)
                       6 tomatoes (cut in halves)
                       12 mushrooms (leave whole)
1 red pepper (cut in to 6 chunks)
2 onions Cut into 12 chunks
halloumi cut into 12 pieces
fresh mint (chop finely)
oil for brushing (about 2 tsps)
kebab sticks

Method
Quite literally thread all your ingredients evenly out on the sticks and brush with your oil. Olive Oil gives a scrumptious taste.
Once your kebabs are cooked on the barbecue sprinkle the chopped mint over and serve with some lovely wholewheat pitta.

A little motivational thought for the weekend!
"Don't worry how slowly your moving towards your goal, you are moving faster than those who choose to stand still"
